Erotic fiction provides the perfect escape, enabling readers to enjoy sexual adventures and fantasies beyond their daily lives. From the traditional classics like ‘The Story of O’ to modern bestsellers such as ‘Belle du Jour’ people have found pleasure in reading fiction that can inspire their sexual experiences.
Erotica have teamed up with award-winning erotic publishers Xcite Books to offer you a unique opportunity to unleash your creative talent and become a published author. So uncap your pen, release your inhibitions and escape into an erotic short story adventure! The five best stories will be published in an ebook anthology produced by Xcite Books called “Escape to Erotica” for Valentine’s Day 2012.
Prizes: 
The best five stories will be published in “Escape to Erotica”. The author of the best story, plus a friend, will enjoy 7-nights’ accommodation, in a garden view room at Hedonism Resort in Jamaica (flights not included). The four runners-up will win a year’s supply of Xcite books (12 paperback books).
Competition Rules:
Using the theme ‘escape,’ we are looking for short stories of between 3000 – 5000 words. This theme can be very widely interpreted but must be a short story rather than the description of an experience. As with all Xcite books, all sexual activity must be consensual and legal. Submissions should be sent as a word document attachment to erotica@xcitebooks.co.uk
by 31st December 2011. The winners will be announced and notified on January 31st 2012 and the ebook released on 14th February 2012. Copyright for the winning entries will be retained by Erotica. Dates for the Hedonism holiday prize are subject to availability – flights not included.
