Statement: April 2012

April 3rd, 2012

Following an in-depth review of the current market, Erotica has decided to completely revamp its adult lifestyle consumer event for 2013, when a ‘new generation’ event will take place in a different venue and at an earlier time of the year.

The implementation of these far reaching changes has resulted in the cancellation of Erotica 2012 although there will be a new Erotica ‘Hub’ website launched in the summer. This new website, created in conjunction with Carnal Creative, will give consumers access to all aspects of the adult industry.

The famous Erotica parties, which are staged by Torture Garden, will continue and be expanded upon during the year.

“The decision to postpone Erotica 2012 was not taken lightly,” said Erotica’s Savvas Christodoulou. “And we are very much aware that we will disappoint our loyal exhibitors and the many thousands of visitors who attend each show – I can only apologise to them and promise that when we return in 2013 it will be with a significantly enhanced Erotica.”

Christodoulou continued: “The new show will still offer a shopping element for exciting fashion items and the more unique products that are hard to find on the High Street or Internet but there will be a big emphasis on entertainment and the opportunity to meet like-minded people in a friendly, comfortable and safe environment.”

Erotica 2011 Survey

November 24th, 2011

Please take the time to look at the following two questions and submit our answers about what policies should be in place for next years show.

For those of you who attended this year’s show you would have noticed that, by popular demand from visitors, we relaxed the ‘no camera rule’. Whilst it is fresh in your memories we would appreciate your feed-back on this new policy. Can you please spend a few moments to reply Yes or No to this survey to enable us to decide on what we do with cameras in 2012.

Cameras

Would you like Erotica 2012 to continue with the relaxed camera policy?

Whether you attended this year’s show or not we would value your input into the planning of Erotica 23-25 November 2012.  Whilst we would continue to invite all clients to attend our show on any one (or more) of the three days of the show we wonder whether you, our visitors, would benefit by designated days for those of you who have a particular interest. For example if you are into Swinging would you prefer like-minded people to attend on one day and thereby enable you to meet others with the same interest?

Can you please spend a few moments to reply Yes or No to this survey’.

Designated Days

Would you like Erotica 2012 to dedicate Sunday 25th November 2012 of special interest to Swinging Couples?

The Only Way Is Essex

November 10th, 2011

We are delighted to announce the following
personal appearances at this year’s show:

Sunday 20th November, 1pm

From TV’s “The Only Way is Essex”

James “Arg” Argent

James was born on the 5th of December 1988 ad and had a few jobs before finding fame in The Only Way is Essex. These included a brief time at Waitrose on the patisserie section and a Xmas job selling Christmas trees!

James then started singing in bars and clubs and in no time was asked to perform alongside the Drifters. It was in Spain that he received a call from the producers of the show The Only Way is Essex. They had been auditioning for the show and had decided on Mark Wright as one of the main characters and after doing some research had found marks long time friend James.

James’ aspirations are to have a successful album and to tour as well as collaborating with an established artist. He wishes to continue in the only way is Essex and would even explore working in the theatre.
